　　[正] My great great-grandfather had never left the mountain from the cradle to the grave.

　　注：“從......到......”常可以翻譯成 from ...to...，如：from ancient times to the present(從古至今)，from beginning to end(從頭到尾)，from dawn to dusk(從早到晚)等。第一句翻譯錯(cuò)就錯(cuò)在將“生”和“死”翻得太直白了，不符合英語(yǔ)的習(xí)慣。
