　　一、 生詞講解

　　1、welcome n. 歡迎；v. 歡迎

　　a cold welcome 冷遇

　　welcome to＋地點(diǎn)

　　例如：welcome to China

　　You are welcome./welcome adj.或You are welcome to+地點(diǎn)

　　例如：welcome to my home/welcome home/ welcome back

　　2、crowd n. 人群

　　crowd :in the crowd

　　I spotted him in the crowd 一眼看見

　　a crowd of people 沒有次序的人群，擁擠的人群

　　a group of people 有次序的人群

　　crowd v.擁擠，擠滿

　　a large crowd of people 一大群人／crowds of people 許多人，人山人海

　　3、gather v. 聚集

　　people gathered 人們聚集在一起，尤指自發(fā)性的聚集

　　4、hand n. （表或機(jī)器的）指針

　　hand n.手

　　minute hand/second hand/hour hand

　　second hand 二手的，舊的

　　wait me a moment/wait me a few seconds(for a few seconds.)

　　5、shout v. 喊叫

　　call out 大聲喊叫

　　cry out 大聲哭喊

　　scream 尖叫

　　二、 本文重點(diǎn)語法講解

　　本篇課文的重點(diǎn)是時(shí)間介詞的用法。

　　這部分知識(shí)點(diǎn)實(shí)用性很強(qiáng)，在PET, BETS2 中是必考項(xiàng)目，也是新概念英語第二冊的重點(diǎn)語法，同時(shí)在小升初考試中也是完形填空常考知識(shí)點(diǎn)。只要多比較，多練，通過造句子區(qū)分各個(gè)知識(shí)點(diǎn)，學(xué)生大部分都能將這部分知識(shí)點(diǎn)掌握好，尤其時(shí)想在考試中拿高分的學(xué)生，千萬不要忽視這樣的細(xì)節(jié)知識(shí)點(diǎn)哦！

　　讓我們來看看具體的時(shí)間介詞家族成員吧：

　　At：表示在某時(shí)刻，時(shí)間，階段，如at noon 在中午，at night在夜晚，還有具體時(shí)刻at 12 o'clock等；時(shí)刻前的介詞用at：at five to twelve作時(shí)間狀語

　　In ：強(qiáng)調(diào)在一段時(shí)間內(nèi)，如在早，午，晚in the morning, in the afteronno, in the evening.

　　課文中in twenty minutes' time 20分鐘之后，in 表示在段時(shí)間以后，根據(jù)時(shí)態(tài)判別in 表示的含義。

　　在四季也用它in spring, 在具體某一年，某一月份都用in, 如in 2010, in May

　　On :表示在某一天（具體日期），某星期，某天早上，某天前夕等具體時(shí)間：on May 1st ,2010; on Monday, on a sunny morning,on Christmas Eve.

　　From …to 強(qiáng)調(diào)時(shí)間延續(xù)性：從……到……舉個(gè)例子They are busy from morning till night.

　　During：在某段時(shí)間里During the holiday,she eats a lot.

　　Not ..until 直到。。才。這個(gè)詞考得特多，比如PET中常常在寫作第一題中讓學(xué)生進(jìn)行同意句轉(zhuǎn)換，如：It is 12 o'clock.。 She comes late.可改為She doesn't come until 12 o'clock.劃線的地方不許超過3個(gè)單詞。

　　After ，Before這兩個(gè)詞 孩子們再熟悉不過了，一般放在時(shí)間狀語從句中使用。After he finishes his work ,he goes shopping.
