Daniel: Can you tell me about the special characteristics of the night fair? Is that very different from other ordinary fairs?
阿美:當(dāng)然可以啊。你只能在晚上才能看到夜市。它通常是在下午6點(diǎn)鐘開始,持續(xù)5到6個(gè)小時(shí)。夜市上有各種各樣的小攤子。
May: Of course. You can only see the night fairs at night; it often opens at 6:00 p.m. and it lasts for 5 or 6 hours. There are various vendor stands here.

Daniel: What do they sell there?
阿美:衣服、鞋子和小吃。你能在那里找到你想要的任何東西。
May: Clothes, shoes, snacks and so on. You can find just about whatever you want.

Daniel: Anything else?

May: There are also some fine art crafts, including wood carving, shell ornaments and paper-cut.

May: Let me see. They are watching the performance of the lion dance.

Daniel: Lion dance? I want to have a look. It sounds wonderful.
阿美:好的,走吧。
May: OK. Let’s go.
丹尼爾:那些舞獅的人肯定做了很多練習(xí)。他們移動(dòng)的太靈活了。
Daniel: The dancers must have exercised a lot. They move so flexibly.

May: Yes, but we should go now, since the time is limited. You can see the performance next time.

Daniel: OK. Do you want to buy something here?
