Where the water-lilies go	一朵朵睡蓮在水上
To and fro,	來(lái)去漂蕩，
Rocking in the ripples of the water,	隨著細(xì)浪輕漾，
Lazy on a leaf lies the Lake King's daughter,	湖王的女兒懶洋洋地躺在蓮葉上，①
And the fait winds shake her.	微風(fēng)把她搖晃。
Who will come and take her?	誰(shuí)要來(lái)把她帶走？
I will! I will!	我要！我要！
Keep still! Keep still!	別吵！別吵！
Sleeping on a leaf lies the Lake King's daughter ...	湖王的女兒正在蓮葉上睡覺(jué)……
Then the wind comes skipping	風(fēng)來(lái)了，蹦蹦跳跳，
To the lilies on the water;	跨過(guò)水上的睡蓮一朵朵；
And the kind winds wake her.	溫和的風(fēng)把她喚醒，
Now who will take her?	誰(shuí)來(lái)把她帶走？
With a laugh she is slipping	她一笑就溜，
Through the lilies on the water.	穿過(guò)水上的睡蓮一朵朵。
Wait! Wait!	等一等！等一等！
Too late, too late!	來(lái)不及嘍！來(lái)不及嘍！
Only the water-lilies go	只有睡蓮一朵朵
To and fro,	在水上來(lái)去漂蕩，
