倒立

“倒立”不能直譯為down stand，因?yàn)檫@個(gè)動(dòng)作要用手撐地，所以用handstand來(lái)表示。

The clown amused the audience by handstand.

小丑表演倒立，把觀眾都逗樂(lè)了。

對(duì)話

A:Can you perform handstand?

你會(huì)表演倒立嗎?

B:No,I can't.But Bob can.

不，我不會(huì)。不過(guò)鮑勃會(huì)。

表示“倒立”的詞還有headstand

另外也可以說(shuō)stand upside down

捉迷藏

“捉迷藏”這個(gè)游戲大家一定很熟悉，就是先讓一個(gè)人蒙上眼睛，然后其他人藏起來(lái)，過(guò)了規(guī)定的時(shí)間這個(gè)人再睜開(kāi)眼睛去找其他人。在英語(yǔ)中可以用hide-and-seek來(lái)表示，十分形象。

Few children don't like to play hide-and-seek.

幾乎沒(méi)有孩子不愛(ài)玩捉迷藏的。

鮑勃和瑪麗是青梅竹馬的一對(duì)兒。
