卡卡課堂 1419 “舍不得，不忍心“的英語(yǔ)怎么說(shuō)？

有時(shí)候打開(kāi)衣柜，
看到不少衣服，雖然不經(jīng)常穿，
但又舍不得扔掉。
整理家務(wù)時(shí)，有時(shí)候也會(huì)覺(jué)得扔掉一些東西會(huì)比較可惜，
會(huì)非常舍不得。
中文里面，我們可以用“舍不得”
來(lái)表達(dá)“不愿意，不忍心”
那么， “舍不得”
用英語(yǔ)怎么說(shuō)呢？
今天節(jié)目我們來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)下“舍不得”的英語(yǔ)地道表達(dá)。


1.can't bear to sth.
不忍心，不舍得
Bear本身有忍受的意思，這個(gè)短語(yǔ)則指”不忍心“做某事


Example:
Time flies. I can't bear to leave you.
時(shí)間過(guò)的好快啊，我真舍不得離開(kāi)你。


I can't bear to see you cry.
我真舍不得看見(jiàn)你哭。






2.not have the heart (to do sth.)
不忍心（做某事）


Example:
That's why I didn't have the heart to destroy them.
這也是我不忍心摧毀他們的原因。


She doesn't have the heart to tell him what had happened to it.
她不忍心告訴他發(fā)生了什么。


3.hate to do sth.
“舍不得”其實(shí)就是“討厭/不情愿做某事”，
hate to do 可以部分承載這樣的含義。
hate to part with...討厭跟…分別


Example:
I hate to part with you.
真舍不得跟你們分別。


I hate to leave this place.
我舍不得離開(kāi)這個(gè)地方。
