小王子 第42期:三枚花瓣的花朵

The little prince crossed the desert and met with only one flower.

小王子穿過(guò)沙漠。他只見(jiàn)過(guò)一朵花，

It was a flower with three petals, a flower of no account at all.

一個(gè)有著三枚花瓣的花朵，一朵很不起眼的小花…

"Good morning," said the little prince.

“你好。”小王子說(shuō)。

"Good morning," said the flower.

“你好。”花說(shuō)。

"Where are the men?" the little prince asked, politely.

“人在什么地方?”小王子有禮貌地問(wèn)道。

The flower had once seen a caravan passing.

有一天，花曾看見(jiàn)一支駱駝商隊(duì)走過(guò)：

"Men?" she echoed. I think there are six or seven of them in existence.

人嗎?我想大約有六七個(gè)人，

I saw them, several years ago. But one never knows where to find them.

幾年前，我瞅見(jiàn)過(guò)他們?？墒?，從來(lái)不知道到什么地方去找他們。

The wind blows them away. They have no roots, and that makes their life very difficult."

風(fēng)吹著他們到處跑。他們沒(méi)有根，這對(duì)他們來(lái)說(shuō)是很不方便的。”

"Goodbye," said the little prince.

“再見(jiàn)了。”小王子說(shuō)。

"Goodbye," said the flower.

“再見(jiàn)。”花說(shuō)。
