　　1.其他并列連詞：

　　l) and 和，而：

　　Men and women, old and young, all joined in the battle.

　　男女老少都參加了戰(zhàn)斗。

　　Justice is on your side. And justice will triumph over injustice.

　　正義在你們一邊，而正義是會(huì)戰(zhàn)勝非正義的。

　　2) or 或，否則：

　　You may do it yourself, or ask Paul to do it.

　　你可以自己做這事，也可請(qǐng)保羅來(lái)做。

　　I must go now, or I'll be late for the party.

　　我現(xiàn)在得走了，否則晚會(huì)我會(huì)遲到了。

　　3) either … or 或是……或是，要么……要么：

　　Come either today or tomorrow.

　　你今天來(lái)或是明天來(lái)。

　　Either you must improve your work or we shall dismiss you.

　　要么你改進(jìn)上作，要么我們就辭退你。

　　4) neither … nor 既不……又不：

　　They worked neither for fame nor for personal gain.

　　他們工作既不為名又不為利。

　　She could neither speak the language nor write it.

　　這個(gè)語(yǔ)言她既不能說(shuō)，又不能寫。

　　5) not only … but also 不僅……而且：

　　We should not only be bold, but also be cautious.

　　我們不僅要大膽，而且要謹(jǐn)慎。

　　Not only was the coat soft, it was also warm.

　　這件大衣不僅柔軟，而且很暖和。

　　6) both … and (兩者)都：

　　We should pay attention both to industry and to agriculture.

　　我們對(duì)工農(nóng)業(yè)都要重視。

　　A man should have both courage and perseverance.

　　一個(gè)人既要有勇氣也要有毅力。

　　7) as well as 和：

　　1 have read one of his novels as well as a few of his plays.

　　我看過(guò)他的一本小說(shuō)和幾個(gè)劇本。

　　It is important to you as well as for me.

　　這對(duì)你對(duì)我都很重要。
