順其自然吧。

Let a thing slide直譯過(guò)來(lái)就是：“讓事物自然滑動(dòng)”，這個(gè)短語(yǔ)的正確意思是：“讓事情順其自然”。因此，當(dāng)美國(guó)人說(shuō)"Let a thing slide."時(shí)，他/她要表達(dá)的意思就是:"Let the thing go as it does."、"Leave it as it is."、"Let it be."。
