get the picture ： to understand the whole situation 對(duì)什么有全部的了解

e.g. <1>After meeting his parents, Julie got the picture about her boyfriend.

在Julie和他的父母談完了之后，她對(duì)自己的男朋友是什么樣的人就有了了解。

<2>Once the managers explained all the aspects of the project, I got the picture and understood my role much better.

經(jīng)典對(duì)白:

1. 劇中：He knew what he was doing.

know what somebody is doing / know what you are doing ：you have a lot of experience or a particular plan 很有經(jīng)驗(yàn)，做什么事情心中有數(shù)

e.g. <1>When it comes to planning large events, she knows what she is doing.
