Man crush is a strong emotion a straight man shows when he respects, admires and idolizes another man, totally non-sexual.
Man crush(男人間的欣賞)描述的是一個(gè)直男對(duì)另一個(gè)男人懷有尊敬、仰慕以及崇拜情緒時(shí)表現(xiàn)出來(lái)的那種強(qiáng)烈感情，而這一切與性無(wú)關(guān)。

《美國(guó)俚語(yǔ)詞典》將have a crush on someone定義為“對(duì)某人著迷，尤其是對(duì)于年齡較大、更老練的人”。

To be infatuated or enchanted with someone, esp to be secretly in love with someone older and more worldly than oneself

但這種著迷的狀態(tài)發(fā)生在男人身上，就成了man crush。

美國(guó)新聞博客網(wǎng)站《郝芬頓郵報(bào)》這樣解釋：

A man crush is something that a straight male has for someone who is usually a public figure, a recognizable name, a celebrity.

Man crush指的是直男對(duì)其他人的仰慕，通常是對(duì)公眾人物、名流或者明星。

這種感情在女孩之間也存在，叫做girl crush。
