Simon Smith made it big in the department business with facilities in several states. At a grand opening of a new mall that included one of those stores, a reporter asked for an interview.
“What do you believe is the most important personal characteristic that has led to your success?” the journalist asked.
“It’s will power. That’s the main reason for my achievement. ” answered Smith.
“Could you explain that for me?” the reporter asked.
“Sure.” He exhibited a smile. “My father died, and in his will he left the entire department store to me. Well, that’s not the kind of will power used by most people to make it to the summit.
