Helping others has always been a virtue in traditional Chinese culture.

But what’s strange nowadays is that people dare not show their helping hands to those in need. I would like to elaborate my views on this issue.

可是很奇怪的是，現(xiàn)在的人都不敢伸出援手去幫助那些需要幫助的人。

Firstly, I think people’s moral sense has degraded. When egoism gains the upper hand, many people find it growingly hard to help others.

首先，我認(rèn)為人們的道德意識(shí)已經(jīng)退化。當(dāng)利己主義獲得了上風(fēng)，許多人覺(jué)得越來(lái)越難去幫助別人。

Secondly, there is no denying that some tragic events turn out to be traps by people with evil intentions.

其次，毫無(wú)疑問(wèn)一些不幸的事件結(jié)果證明是有著不良目的的陷阱。

So common people are becoming more risk-conscious and are more wary of traps and deceits.

因此，老百姓變得越來(lái)越有危機(jī)意識(shí)而陷阱和騙局也變得越來(lái)越謹(jǐn)慎。

In general, I contend the idea that we should be warm-hearted and offer help as well as look out for potential hazards so as not to be deceived.

總的來(lái)說(shuō)，我主張應(yīng)該熱心腸，我認(rèn)為我們應(yīng)該熱心提供幫助同時(shí)也留心潛在危險(xiǎn)，以免被騙。
