老友記第九季第六集單詞學(xué)習(xí)（一）

　　1. YOU BET YOUR ASS I AM! 我還就是在吼呢!

　　You bet YOUR ASS, 這里your ass是為了加強(qiáng)語(yǔ)氣, 用法來(lái)源是you bet.

　　當(dāng)老美說(shuō), "You bet." 的時(shí)候, 就代表你說(shuō)的一點(diǎn)也沒(méi)錯(cuò)的意思呢? 因?yàn)?bet 是下賭注的意思, 所以 "You bet." 就是指, "You can bet money on that." (你可以把錢(qián)下注在上面), 言下之意, 就是說(shuō)這件事百分之百正確. 例如別人問(wèn)你,

　　"Is this is the way to High Tower Museum." (這是往 High Tower 博物館的路嗎?) 你就可以回答說(shuō), "You bet." (一點(diǎn)不錯(cuò))

　　2. Awesome.表示贊同的說(shuō)法, 還記得sleepless in seatle里Hanks說(shuō)的連續(xù)的表示贊同的說(shuō)法, 很經(jīng)典,不過(guò)記得不全了.

　　Monday is ok,... is good... is...great... would be even better..

　　3. He is without a doubt, the funniest guy I have ever met. 類(lèi)似說(shuō)法: there is no doubt that he is the funniest guy...

　　doubt 用法: no doubt about that! 千真萬(wàn)確!

　　let go..放開(kāi)..另見(jiàn)902: he's really not letting this go

　　let go of one's hand;let sth go/let go sth..

　　5. Yeah, I kinda do. 回憶一下kinda/kind of的用法,

　　7. why don't you keep digging? 掏牛仔褲口袋用的動(dòng)詞是: dig v.掘, 挖, 鉆研, 搜集
