我的漫畫展示了隔離期間常見(jiàn)的掙扎

Hey everyone! My name is Yasemin and I am a freelance graphic designer & illustrator based in Istanbul, Turkey. On the first day of the lockdown due to the corona outbreak, I knew I had two options. Either I was going to do a Netflix marathon for who knows how long, or I was gonna try to make lemonade from this situation with the sourest of lemons. So I decided to draw some comics about my feelings towards quarantine. After making one or two, I started to realize that many of my struggles are very common with almost everyone in the world right now! That feeling gave me great strength to move on, since I wanted people to have a laugh while going through endless bad news scrolling through social media.

嘿,大家好!我的名字是Yasemin，我是一個(gè)自由平面設(shè)計(jì)師和插畫家，生活在土耳其的伊斯坦布爾。在corona爆發(fā)的第一天，我知道我有兩個(gè)選擇。要么我做一個(gè)誰(shuí)知道多久的網(wǎng)飛馬拉松，要么我試著用最酸的檸檬做檸檬水。所以我決定畫一些關(guān)于我對(duì)隔離的感受的漫畫。在做了一兩個(gè)之后，我開(kāi)始意識(shí)到我的很多掙扎和現(xiàn)在世界上幾乎每個(gè)人都是一樣的!這種感覺(jué)給了我繼續(xù)前進(jìn)的強(qiáng)大力量，因?yàn)槲蚁胱屓藗冊(cè)谏缃幻襟w上看到?jīng)]完沒(méi)了的壞消息時(shí)開(kāi)懷大笑。

Considering all that, I named my series "Struggles." I generally come up with ideas by observing my surroundings and checking in with my emotions. One day, this pandemic will end, but some of our mutual daily struggles will carry on. My goal with this series is to take a moment, find something funny about it, and have a little laugh about it. Hope you like the series—cheers!
