I’m Dave DeForest reporting. The United States and Russia agree on a cessation(停止)of hostilities(敵對狀態(tài))in Syria. The move could pave the way for an expansion of humanitarian aid(人道主義援助)to besieged(被包圍)cities and set the stage for a resumption(恢復(fù))of talks on a political transition. In a joint statement on Monday, the U.S. and Russia proposed that the ceasefire(?；?began on February 27.
