　　B: OK, but don’t bore me to death with a bunch of long stories about people I’ve never met.

　　home movie: 家庭自制影片。自拍的影片。

　　bore sb. to death: 形容某事極其無聊，完全不能使人感興趣。這是一個語氣非常強的表達。

　　put sb. to sleep: 形容某事很無趣，能使人昏昏入睡。
