Dear Terry，

I hear that there will be a new English section in our school newspaper and that you've been seeking advice from all the students．I'm writing to you in the hope that I can provide you with some useful suggestions．

First of all，I suggest you publish some articles closely related to our school life，which not only to keep us informed of the latest news in our school，but also to improve our English learning ability at the same time．Since every student shows interest in our colorful school life，there is no doubt that this section will be well received．Secondly，I would like the English section to include some recommendations of good English books to make us have a chance to have a taste of the literature of a different culture．Through reading the good books，we can expand our horizons and gain more knowledge．And，it is also an effective way to improve our English．Last but not least，I hope that there will be some English test papers in this English section，through which we can have a check of our recent English study．

I hope my suggestions can help you to some extent．I would appreciate it very much if you could take them into consideration．I'm looking forward to the first publication of the school newspaper with the new section included．
