Nowadays, more and more university students have chosen to study abroad for postgraduate degrees. Personally, I believe that studying in a foreign country is beneficial for students' future.

First, the experience of living and studying in a different culture can give students a new perspective to reach a more informed judgment. Second, by studying in a developed country students can acquire some state-of-the-art technology or theories which are not currently available in China. Also, a cosmopolitan mindset which can actively absorb new elements is undoubtedly advantageous to students' development. Third, the proverbial "broaden one's horizons" also vindicates the value of studying abroad. It helps new graduates to cooperate with people from various nations and promotes understanding between disparate cultures. Fourth, obtaining a degree from a credible foreign university often makes job hunting much easier and students also will have more choices. Last, studying abroad often requires students to be fluent in a foreign language; and this gives them a good incentive to apply themselves to a new language.
