Lanes paved with fallen reds, the pool’s full to the brim;
In drizzling rain the sunrays swim.
The apricot garden languishes with cuckoos’ cries.
What can I do when away spring flies?
I mount alone the willow-shaded tower,
Leaning on rails, my hand plays with a flower.
Silent, I let it go when sunset glows.
Who knows my grief? Who knows?
