英語(yǔ)不同階段“年齡”的表示法

　?、?表示“整歲”，直接用基數(shù)詞或year，age，例如“他20歲”可表示為：

　　He is twenty.

　　He is twenty years old.

　　He is a twenty-year-old man.

　　He is aged twenty.

　　He is at age twenty.

　　He is at the age of twenty.

　　He is twenty years of age.

　?、?表示“在某人幾十多歲”，用“in one’s+基數(shù)詞復(fù)數(shù)形式”，例如：

　　她五十多歲。She is in her fifties.(從50歲到59歲之間)

　　還可以借助early，middle，late來(lái)表達(dá)得更明確一些，例如：

　　那女孩今年二十二、三歲。The girl is in her early twenties.

　?、?表示“快滿多少歲”用進(jìn)行時(shí)或?qū)?lái)時(shí)，例如“他快滿十八歲了”可說(shuō)成：

　　He is getting on for eighteen.

　　He is going on eighteen years old.

　?、?表示“不滿多少歲”，用副詞barely，nearly，al-most，quite，yet，just等，例如“她不滿十七歲”有以下幾種說(shuō)法：

　　She is barely/nearly/almost seventeen.

　?、?表示“差多久滿多少歲”用介詞off，例如：

　　他差5個(gè)月就滿19歲了。He is five months off nineteen.

　　Ⅵ.表示“超過(guò)多少歲”用介詞past，例如：

　　他是一個(gè)過(guò)了中年的人。He is a man past middleage.

　　那孩子兩歲零兩個(gè)月。The baby is two months past two years old.
