A young man has ,just got his driver's permit and wants to drive the car.

一個年輕人考取了駕駛執(zhí)照，想開家里的車。

A:Dad，rnay I use the car，please?

B:Now，let's make a deal.

現(xiàn)在，讓我們訂個協(xié)議。

A:OK.

好吧。

B:If you bring your grades from a C to a B-average，study your Bible a little，and get your hair cui，then you can talk about the car with me.

你把你的平均成績從C提到B，多學一點兒《圣經》，而且剪掉你的長頭發(fā)，然后我們再談汽車的事。

A:Well，1 think I will settle for the offer.

好吧，我接受。

After two months the boy came back.

B:OK，Have you ever done what I told you to do son ?

B:Well，I've been really proud of you. You've brought your grades up,and I have observed that you've been studying your Bible and partici-pating a lot more in the Bible study class on Sunday morning.

A:Because I am eager to drive the car.

B:But I am really disappointed seeing that you haven't got you hair cut.

A:You know，Dad，I've been thinking about that，and I've notice d in my studies of the Bible that Samson had long hair, Moses had long hair, John had long hair, and there is even strong argument that Je-sus himself had long hair.

你要知道，爸爸，我想那樣做，但學《圣經》時，我注意到薩遜留長頭發(fā)，摩西留長頭發(fā)，約翰也留長頭發(fā)，甚至耶穌他自己很可能也留了長頭發(fā)。

B:Perhaps.But they walked every where they went!
