印尼發(fā)生7.3級地震

A deep, magnitude 7.3 earthquake has hit Indonesia’s Tanimbar Islands in Banda Sea, reports the US Geological Survey.

據(jù)美國地質調查局報道，印度尼西亞班達海坦巴爾群島發(fā)生7.3級地震。

Civil Defence confirmed there is no tsunami threat to New Zealand.

民防部門證實，新西蘭沒有受到海嘯威脅。

Parts of Darwin's central business district have been evacuated as a precaution, according to ABC News. Residents have reported feeling a strong tremor, however no injuries or damage in Darwin have been reported.

"Everything was rocking... I was leaning back in my chair and I thought I was going to fall off," a Darwin resident posted to Twitter.

“一切都在搖擺……”一位達爾文的居民在推特上寫道：“當時我正靠在椅子上，我以為自己會掉下來。”

The quake struck at 2:53pm at a depth of 208 kilometres. It was felt in parts of Indonesia and in East Timor's capital Dili.

地震發(fā)生在下午2點53分，震源深度為208公里。印度尼西亞部分地區(qū)和東帝汶首都帝力都有震感。

The earthquake was preceeded by a smaller, 20 kilometre-deep quake just minutes earlier. Reports differ as to whether the first tremblor was 5.1 or 6.1 magnitude.

就在地震發(fā)生前幾分鐘，曾發(fā)生了一場震源深度20公里的淺地震。關于第一次地震的震級是5.1級還是6.1級，報道各不相同。

Initial USGS estimates measured the larger quake as magnitude 7.5.

美國地質勘探局初步估計，這次大地震的震級為7.5級。
