學習英語之percent和percentage區(qū)別匯總分享

　　Percentage是抽象的，前面可有形容詞修飾如significant，large等，表示一定比例。Percent前一般有具體數字，是具體的，表示具體比例。

　　在表示百分數時可以用percent或percentage

　　前者用法是:數詞+percent+of+sth;這時后面謂語的單復數以percent后面跟的主語為主,

　　例如:

　　1. percent of the apples(這里是復數的可數名詞) are(所以用復數) eaten.

　　2. percent of the apple(這里是單數,指的是一個蘋果的一部分) is(用單數) eaten.

　　3. percent of the water(這里是不可數名詞) is(單數) drunk.

　　后者的用法是The percentage of +sth+ is,注意這里不管后面跟的是什么詞,都用is(這里忽略別的時態(tài))

　　1.The percentage of the students is 46.

　　2.The percentage of the water is 46.
