1　address 可指直接對(duì)人或聽(tīng)眾“講話”，也可指用書(shū)信形式對(duì)人“講話，演講”。

The headmaster addressed the whole school. 校長(zhǎng)向全校講話。

He addressed himself to the crowd. 他向聽(tīng)眾講話。

2　speak to 指口頭上“向……講話”。

Can I speak to the director? 我可以同主任講話嗎？

The manager won't even speak to us. 經(jīng)理甚至不和我們講話。
