74　what的4種用法

1　what 用作疑問代詞，引導(dǎo)特殊疑問句，在句中作主語、表語或賓語。

What happened next? 接下來發(fā)生了什么事？（作主語 ）

What is his name? 他叫什么名字？（作表語 ）

What did he say? 他說了什么？（作賓語）

2　what 用作連接代詞，表示一種東西或一件事情，相當(dāng)于the thing which，用于引導(dǎo)主語從句、表語從句或賓語從句。

What he said is true. 他講的話是真實的。（引導(dǎo)主語從句 ）

This is what he needs. 這就是他所需要的東西。（引導(dǎo)表語從句 ）

I don't know what he said. 我不知道他說了什么話。（引導(dǎo)賓語從句）

3　what 用作形容詞，只作定語，修飾名詞，可表示感嘆。

What books did he buy? 他買了什么書？

What team is she in? 她在哪個組？

What good students they are! 他們是多么好的學(xué)生?。?/p>

what引導(dǎo)從句作賓語時，必須是作及物動詞的賓語或介詞的賓格，要注意不及物動詞后面的介詞不可省略。

I don't know what they are talking about . （正）我不知道他們在談?wù)撌裁?。

I don't know what they are talking . （誤）

I know what he is looking for . （正）我知道他在找什么。

I know what he is looking . （誤）

我想知道那個女孩在玩什么。

I want to know what the girl is playing with . （正）

4　what 表示“身份，職業(yè)”。

What is the man over there? 那邊那個人是干什么的？

What's your mother? 你母親是干什么工作的？
