{比喻修飾法}

第一、這句話中的比喻的修飾方法使用了3次。第一個文學(xué)中比喻的修飾方法體現(xiàn)在句中become后面需要填寫的an early bird。第二個體現(xiàn)在句中although I was every后要填寫的tired和as a后要填寫的dog。第三個體現(xiàn)在句中的be a后面要填寫的night owl。

Tired as a dog，像狗一樣累。這里用來比喻一個人精疲力盡，極其勞累的狀況。它是exhausted的意思。西方人看中狗的忠誠，喜愛它，贊美它，常把它比喻做人。英語中關(guān)于狗的習(xí)語還有很多。例如：a lucky dog意為“幸運(yùn)兒”，a clever dog意為“聰明的小孩，伶俐的小孩”。我們來看一個對話。

A: The bracelet is so well suited to you. It looks very nice. B: Yeah, I cherish it. Because I have been working like a dog for two months to buy it. A: 這手鐲戴在你手上真合適，看起來很漂亮。

B: 是的，我很珍惜，因為我努力工作了兩個月攢錢買的。

A night owl，意為貓頭鷹。這里用貓頭鷹來比喻晚睡，熬夜的人。

{常用表達(dá)法}
